June’s Free Games Preview

This month is probably the best month ever for Playstation Plus games. Xbox isn’t doing too bad either, so lets’ take a look at what you can expect to be playing in the next few weeks without needing to spend a penny:

Killing Floor 2 (PS4) – co-op FPS blasting action, this is a frantic horror smash. Excellent stuff, and bloody.

Life is Strange (PS4) – incredible story driven adventure with a great soundtrack. If you haven’t played it, I’d highly recommend it.

Abe’s Odyssey (PS3) – quirky platform adventure, once a classic staple of the Playstation franchise.

WRC 5: World Rally Championship (PS3) – authentic rallying action steering toward realism. Tough, but rewarding.

Neon Chrome (PS Vita and PS4) – stylistic top down shooting action with a funky soundtrack.

Spy Chameleon (PS Vita and PS4) – puzzling action game where you have to change colour to help avoid being spotted. Very highly regarded on PC so will be good to try on console.

Speed Runners (Xbox One – Available 1st June-30th June) – a co-op platform racer, getting across the level as fast as possible. One thing you won’t want to do is hit anything and lose your momentum.

Phantom Dust Multiplayer Content (Xbox One – Available 1st June-30th June) – a free booster set for Phantom Dust, a blend of third person combat and collectible card game.

Watch Dogs (Xbox One – Available 16th June – 15th July) – open world tech-action, a bit too serious but still worth playing if you haven’t.

Assassin’s Creed 3 (Xbox 360 and Xbox One – Available: 1st June-15th June) – that one where they did the Civil War thing. Technically sound but I think they lost their way with the series before the excellent pirates of AC4.

Dragon Age Origins (Xbox 360 and Xbox One – Available: 16th June – 15th July) – the first game int the Dragon Age franchise, sprawling RPG action, with Dragons.
