Square Enix have confirmed new details for their upcoming Hitman HD Trilogy and the limited edition version. The title is expected to release on January 29, 2013 in North America, and a couple of days later across Europe.
According to Square Enix the limited edition will include “an art book with 22 artist reinterpretations of classic moments throughout the Hitman series”. They’ve also announced www.WhoIs47.com, a site where fans can buy “one-of-a-kind autographed lithographs”. These lithographs will also be featured in the limited edition and will sell for $47 each – it’s not clear if these will be available outside the US, but it seems unlikely.
The site is also running an art contest, fans can submit their own art which should feature their favorite moments from ‘Hitman Contracts’, ‘Hitman 2: Silent Assassin’ and ‘Hitman Blood Money’. The grand prize winner will receive a custom Agent 47 Xbox 360 system, which is pretty cool as prizes go.
