Here’s Bethesda doing what they do best: getting us fascinated by a game waaaay before it’s released. Shinji Mikami, the father of survival horror, is back to direct The Evil Within – a game embodying the meaning of pure survival horror. Highly-crafted environments, horrifying anxiety, and an intricate story weave together to create an immersive world that will bring players to the height of tension. The Evil Within is in development for the PS3, 360 and PC as well as next generation consoles, and is slated for release in 2014.
Working with director Kyle Cooper, the famed designer known for his award-winning work on title sequences for film and television including Se7en, American Horror Story, and The Walking Dead, the trailer captures and communicates the game’s tone.
