The News Review: Edition 7

Here at The Gaming Review we know that you gamers can have awful busy schedules, and just don’t have the time to search for all the important gaming news that you need – so we’ve compiled the biggest stories over the last seven days in a quick and easy to read format:

  • Deep Silver have announced that DLC for Saints Row IV, called Enter The Dominatrix, will be available on October 22.
  • Codemasters have released F1 Challenge, a formula one game designed for iPad and iPhone, costing £1.99 on the App Store. The game features a variety of game modes, real life drivers and “slick and simple” controls for both right and left handed gamers.
  • Square Enix has announced that Drakengard 3 will be coming digitally to North America and Europe in 2014.
  • Star Wars: The Old Republic: Galactic Starfighter has been revealed. The free-to-play add-on will feature 12-on-12 space dogfights and customisable ships, and will be available to those with early access on December 3rd, with public access opening up on February 4th 2014.
  • Telltale Games has announced that episode one of their new episodic game, The Wolf Among Us, will be available to Xbox 360, PC and Mac on October 11th and available on PS3 sometime shortly after.
  • Ubisoft has announced Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag DLC Season Pass will be available on launch for Playstation 4, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. The main DLC pack is called Freedom Cry, which is a single-player story mode containing 9 missions.
  • Ubisoft have also announced that the DLC for Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag will not be available to Wii U customers.
  • Sony have announced that their new DualShock 4 controllers will be compatible with PC at launch.
  • United Front Games, who developed Sleeping Dogs, have confirmed a sequel to be set in the Sleeping Dogs universe, which will be published by Square Enix.
  • 2K has announced the Borderlands 2 loot hunt, beginning on October 11th and running through until November 7th, with up $100,000 to be won. During each day in the event, a special daily target will be revealed. Players who kill that target will be entered in the weekly draw, and draw for the grand prize of $50,000. Community goals are also available to give players the chance of winning unique weapons.
