The News Review: Edition 8

Here at The Gaming Review, we understand that not everyone has the time to search the depths of the internet to find all of the gaming news they desire, so we’ve compiled a list of what we thought were the most important stories over the last seven days:

  • Ubisoft has announced that Watch Dogs and The Crew have been delayed until 2014. Watch Dogs will now be released between April 1st and June 30th and The Crew will be released some time between July 1st and September 30th.
  • Only Turtle Beach PX4, XP510 and PX51 headsets will work with PS4 at launch, however Sony will release a patch will make other existing headsets compatible.
  • Ubisoft has revealed two South Park: The Stick of Truth Pre-Order bonuses, The Ultimate Fellowship pack and the Samurai Spaceman pack. A Grand Wizard Edition is also available, and contains a wizard Cartman figure, a kingdom of South Park map and The Fellowship pack, or both pre-order packs from selecter retailers.
  • Infamous: Second Sons limited edition versions have been announced by Sony. The Special Edition which includes a beanie hat and a bonus mission, and the Collector’s Edition, which includes a ‘jacket game case’, collectable coin, badges, bottle opener, beanie hat and DLC.
  • Edios Montreal has announced that Thief‘s XP system has been removed from the game following poor fan feedback.
  • Numerous reports have rumoured that DriveClub will be delayed until 2014, however Sony have yet to confirm or deny the rumour.
  • Borderlands 2‘s Halloween DLC, T.K Baha’s Bloody Harvest, will be available on October 22nd on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC for £2.39. The DLC offers a new mission, multiple side quests and a new boss battle.
  • Angry Birds: Go has been announced as a free app for IOS and mobile devices coming out on December 11th. This latest game in the hugely successful Angry Birds franchise will be a kart racer, featuring fully customisable karts, power ups and a variety of game modes.
  • Diablo III‘s first expansion pack, Reaper of Souls, has been announced for PS4, and is set to be released in 2014.
  • Four new multiplayer maps for The Last Of Us have been announced and will launch on October 15th.
  • A new Humble Bundle with Android compatibility has been released, and includes:
    • Worms Reloaded
    • The Bard’s Tale
    • Ticket To Ride + USA 1910 DLC
    • Greed Corp
    • Incredipede
    • Anodyne
  • This weeks Humble Weekly Sale includes titles from Hothead Games:
    • DeathSpank
    • DeathSpank: Thongs of Virtue
    • On the Rain – Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode 1
  • And if you pay $6 or more:
    • On the Rain – Slick Precipice of Darkness, Episode 2
    • The Baconing
