March’s free games are here to make being housebound for a few weeks a bit easier if the country goes into lockdown- no fancy virus is going to get in the way of our freebies this month…
Shadow of the Colossus (PS4) – classic PS2 game that looks lovely but is about a little guy horrifically killing giants.
Sonic Forces (PS4) – A pre-Sonic Mania platform Sonic game. The pre-Mania bit is important because sadly this was the era where most Sonic games weren’t very good.
Batman: The Enemy Within – The Complete Season (March 1 to 31 on Xbox One) – follow up to Telltale’s well regarded Batman story game.
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero (March 16 to April 15 on Xbox One) – a stylised platform game originally funded on Kickstarter which is a nice platform throwback.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 (March 1 to 15 on Xbox One & Xbox 360) – an action-adventure vampire game, releasing in time with the new series on Netflix.
Sonic Generations (March 16 to 31 on Xbox One & Xbox 360) – is Sonic Forces is ‘not the best’ Sonic Game, Sonic Generations is a ‘pretty poor’ Sonic game. It’s Sonic, it has 3D elements. That should be enough.
