Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 (PS4) – the fourth iteration of the long-running futuristic Call of Duty series. Not entirely sure what’s happening at this point but there’s a lot of shooting.
WWE 2K Battlegrounds (PS4) – unequivocally terrible arcade-style wrestling game.
A Plague Tale: Innocence (PS5) – fairly stunning yet dark third-person adventure, with some incredible rat physics.
Planet Alpha (Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, 1st July to 31st July) – a sci-fi side-scrolling action game reminiscent of Another World
Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break (Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, 16th July to 15th August) – a competitive tower-defence and online action game rock racing game. Sounds like it’s worth a look!
Conker: Live & Reloaded (Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, 1st to 15th July) – the remaster of Nintendo’s controversial Conker game. It’s had some tweaks for the Xbox version but (in my mind), still hilarious
Midway Arcade Origins (Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, 16th to 31st July) – a collection of classic Midway games, and it includes Pitfighter. Which I very much love.
